Our client is seeking individuals to join our volunteer Board of Directors, whose role is one of oversight and governance, in alignment with the values and priorities in the organization's strategic plan.
We are actively recruiting Directors who reflect the diversity of the people we serve, have prior Board experience with governance (Carver model) with an organization of similar size and complexity, and have experience with:
- Non-profit community organizations
- A commitment to inclusion, equity and advancing social change
- Business community connections within Metro Vancouver
We are particularly interested in candidates who can enhance the Board’s existing skills with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Legal
- Government relations
- Human resources
Board of Director Term Length and Hours
The board term length is two years unless otherwise specified or requested. The approximate hours required from Board Members is 10–12 hours every other month.
